Two lineages
His formal training spans two complete traditions. From the West: the Nancy School's suggestion-centred clinical method, Braid's attentional model, Ericksonian utilisation, Dave Elman's rapid-induction framework, ego-state and analytical approaches, and direct NLP training under Dr. Richard Bandler. From the East: doctoral study in Vajrayana Buddhist psychology, and initiated practice in the Sammohan Vidya tradition associated with the Atharva Veda, alongside the Tantrik Sammohan and Natha Siddha lineages — a comparative pairing of traditions, described on this site in the register a scholar would accept.
Work
Dr. Sharma is the founding President of the NGH India Chapter, and an RCI-registered Clinical Psychologist (Assoc.) certifying consulting hypnotists under the NGH framework — a combination without parallel in India. He teaches the NGH Consulting Hypnotist certification in three formats — Online (Live Sessions), In Person (Delhi NCR and Dubai), and the Residential Retreat at McLeodganj — and maintains a clinical and executive practice through marutisharma.com, having served Fortune 500 companies and clients in more than 100 countries.
