The Real Question

“Can I actually make a living
from hypnotherapy?

It is the question under every certification enquiry, and the honest answer is: that depends on who trains you. Seven questions separate a training that leads to a practice from a certificate that ends up in a drawer. Here is where NGH India stands — in India and the Gulf.

The Answer, In One Number

₹25,000

The Fee For One Clinical Consultation

Dr. Sharma has been a practising hypnotist since 2000 — more than 25 years — and clients from over 100 countries pay this fee because the work holds. The market is the referee, and it has ruled.

The certification is priced well below what that logic would allow. That is deliberate. Supporting new hypnotherapists into practice is the mission of the NGH India Chapter — so the clinic carries the premium, and the training stays within reach.

The Seven Questions

Ask these before you pay anyone

1

Is the trainer licensed to practise clinical psychology — by a government regulator, not a private body?

In India that licence is issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India, the statutory body governing clinical psychology practice. Dr. Maruti Sharma holds it: RCI Registration No. A100310. He is the only RCI-licensed clinical psychologist in India authorised to train and certify consulting hypnotists under the NGH USA framework.

2

Who issues the certificate — and how long has that body existed?

The National Guild of Hypnotists was founded in Boston in 1951. It is the oldest and largest hypnosis organisation in the world. Dr. Sharma is an NGH Board Certified Hypnotherapist, an NGH Certified Instructor, and the Founding President of the official NGH India Chapter.

3

Was the trainer trained at the source?

Dr. Sharma's NLP line runs directly to Dr. Richard Bandler, co-developer of NLP — Practitioner, Master Practitioner, and Licensed NLP Trainer under the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. His Indian line runs through initiation into the Atharva Veda Sammohan Vidya and the Tantric Sammohan traditions. One lineage is common in this field. Both, held by one trainer, is rare.

4

Is there a method behind the training — or a bundle of techniques?

The MTP™ Method — Meditation, Trance & Psychotherapy: Patterns of Human Communication — is Dr. Sharma's clinical synthesis of Western subconscious intervention and Eastern contemplative practice, refined in continuous practice since 2000. It is taught only inside this programme.

5

How deep does the Eastern material actually go?

Here the syllabus rests on its own academic and lineage backing: a PhD in Vajrayana Buddhist Psychology, fourteen years of formal training under Himalayan mystic Dr. Ajay Kotwal, Yoga Shiromani from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, and Tai Chi & Qi Gong in the lineage of Bruce Kumar Frantzis.

6

What happens after the certificate is issued?

Membership of the NGH India Chapter: monthly live sessions, peer supervision, and access to the Guild's global network. A certificate is a beginning. The chapter is what carries a new practitioner into actual practice.

7

Will the credential travel with you?

The NGH credential is recognised internationally. Dr. Sharma's own clinical and coaching work spans clients in 100+ countries, including Fortune 500 leadership — with Gulf operations anchored by The Emergentis Group, UAE.
