Dr. Akanksha Mangotra practises at the Artemis Corporate Clinic, DLF Camellias, Gurugram; her daily work sits at the modern end of medicine — data, technology, AI-assisted care. In 2026 she completed her hypnotherapy training with Dr. Maruti Sharma and was certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists, USA — founded in Boston in 1950, more than 12,000 members in 105 countries. This photograph marks a meaningful step in my journey as a healer: completing my hypnotherapy training with Dr. Maruti Sharma. I am a trained hypnotherapist now, certified by — National Guild of Hypnotists, USA, which happens to be the world’s oldest and largest hypnosis organisation.
As a medical doctor, I value opportunities to deepen the care I offer my patients. This training has also been a deeply transformative experience for me personally.
What I particularly appreciated about Dr. Sharma’s teaching was his ability to make complex ideas clear and practical. I came away feeling empowered, with fresh curiosity about how I can bring this learning into my work.
An equally valuable part of the experience has been becoming part of the NGH India Chapter. I love our monthly chapter meetings—the conversations, the exchange of perspectives, and the opportunity to meet fellow hypnotherapists from around the world. Having people to keep learning with makes this journey feel especially meaningful.
